As the holiday season comes to an end, for most of us it’s time to get inspired! And there’s no better place to find that inspiration than in our own backyard.
Start the year by taking a fresh look at what Victoria’s art scene has to offer. Nothing boosts your own creativity more than surrounding yourself with art: visit the revamped Australia’s national museum of screen culture (ACMI), enjoy the National Gallery of Victoria’s Friday Nights, or get out into our regions and see the new and improved Shepparton Art Museum or the older Ballarat Art Gallery, currently featuring Anindita Banerjee’s outstanding work. This week our members were invited to submit an artwork to our Smörgåsbord exhibition at the Hut Gallery, early March. The exhibition is themed around food and only $15 to submit.
