The more you know ...

Decades of "self-development", of journeying through different realms of knowledge - inner and outer, of layers of history and experiences: surely by now I would have a clear sense of self! Yet Aristotle's adage of "The more you know, the more you realise you don't know" becomes yearly more apparent to me. These figures of self, marked and patterned by life yet curiously ambivalent and half-empty, gaze silently. All those theories of "The Self" postulated by brilliant minds over the centuries ... Who really knows?
