BALLROOM

Mostly suited to MAVA feature exhibitions, Solo shows with up to 30 large works, group shows of up to 5 members (5-6 submissions each) with works over 50cm x 50 cm. Click here to see how the page looks.

The Ballroom exhibitions are for 1 month at an introductory cost of $300 (group show would be divided among exhibitors)
​
The exhibition will have its own page and all artworks will be available for purchase through the website, Facebook page and Instagram account. Shipping will be included so ensure artwork prices have taken this into consideration.

FOYER
​
This room is recommended for those wanting to try an online exhibition for the first time. It is also recommended for sculptures, jewellery, ceramics and any other creations that are not designed for hanging on a wall. The number of items can differ depending on their size. Collections consisting of more than 10 pieces can be submitted for committee approval. Click here to see how the page looks.

The Foyer exhibitions are for 1 month at an introductory cost of $75, excluding approval for additional works.
The exhibition will have its own page and all artworks will be available for purchase through the website, Facebook page and Instagram account. Shipping will be included so ensure artwork prices have taken this into consideration.

DARKROOM
​
More suitable for photographs, digital media and moving image.
Images will be displayed on a dark background to enhance the feel of the digital room being a Darkroom. Click here to see how the page looks.

The number of items will differ depending on the medium. Recommended for up to 20 artworks measuring less than 50cm x 50cm in size.
​
The Darkroom exhibitions are for 1 month at an introductory cost of $150.
​

SITTING ROOM
​
Mostly suitable for works on paper or canvas, or similar. The room has a cosy feel and would be perfect for a solo collection. Click here to see how the page looks.

Recommended for up to 20 artworks measuring less than 50cm x 50cm in size.
​
The Sitting Room exhibitions are for 1 month at an introductory cost of $150.
​
The exhibition will have its own page and all artworks will be available for purchase through the website, Facebook page and Instagram account. Shipping will be included so ensure artwork prices have taken this into consideration.

STUDIO
​
This room is for experimental works or for those that want to express an idea or share something that is less traditional. Click here to see how the page looks.

The exhibitor will have more involvement with how the works are displayed online and the design of the page on the website.
​
For an additional cost, the exhibitor has the option to work alongside the website manager to ensure the exhibition is displayed to further enhance their concept.
​
The Studio exhibition start dates are flexible and run for 1 month. Expressions of Interest are required to determine cost.
​
The exhibition will have its own page and all artworks will be available for purchase through the website, Facebook page and Instagram account. Shipping will be included so ensure artwork prices have taken this into consideration.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All submissions require approval by the MAVA Inc. committee.
​

Full payment will be required once approval is granted, and prior to the start of the exhibition.
​

Each room has specific requirements on the number and size of artworks to be displayed.
​

A written proposal is required detailing the inspiration, theme or idea behind your exhibition. The committee is looking for cohesion in the exhibition pieces.
​

You must provide at least two images for each artwork that will be of acceptable quality for online display. These must be received at least 3 weeks prior to the exhibition start date.
​

MAVA Inc. reserves the right to reject any pieces that do not comply with community standards for online viewing (ie overt nudity, drug use etc).
​

An Artist’s Statement must be provided to accompany your exhibition. Each artwork statement should not exceed 300 words, and MAVA Inc. retains the right to edit the document for better clarity or spacing. This document must also be received at least 3 weeks prior to the start date.
​

All artworks displayed must be for sale.
​

Artists are responsible for shipping and will consider this when determining the sale price.
​

Any changes to your sale price must be made in writing to MAVA Inc. and may take up to 7 days to amend.
​

Each exhibition will have its own web page, and artworks will be available for purchase via the website, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
​

Exhibitions will be promoted across the MAVA Inc. website, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Artists are also expected to do their own promotions.
​

A 5% commission will be deducted from any artwork sales.
​

Artists must notify MAVA Inc. within 3 days of an artwork being sold on other platforms, both physically and online.
​

MAVA Inc. reserves the right to withdraw any exhibition should these terms and conditions not be adhered to.
