Rocking Chair

Inspired by American abstract expressionist Franz Kline who visited Willem de Kooning's studio where Kline projected his drawing of a chair on to the wall and enlarged it until it was no longer recognisable as a chair. Created with black and white acrylic house paint with low viscosity to allow for drips and splashes. Signed on the back to allow hanging in the collectors preferred orientation.
