The artwork was inspired by a photograph of a forest. In the artwork the artist added patterns within the tree trunks of the trees of the forest, inspired by old Irish tales of spirits and faerie in the woods.
The shadows are also filled with patterns that correspond with the tree trunks with the patterns.
