Hanging Around

I used pages from an old 'Boys Own Annual' to depict the hairy body of the sloth. The paper is quite soft and fibrous so it tears and glues quite well. I enjoyed the challenge of placing pieces to capture the various highlights and shadows as well as the patches of darker hair on the head. This is a bit of a departure from my usual work which is very colourful.
