Hakea Laurina Seed Pod

My recent works reflect the Australian bush where I grew up. My interpretation of our connection to the world we inhabit, and the broader responsibility we share as a species to maintain it. From micro visions of giant eucalypts, a close up view reflecting the smallest creases in the bark, to the the marks left by insects, and patterns of time. Moving from the canopy above to the shrubs in the understorey below, "Hakea Laurina Seed Pods" celebrates the invigorating and constant inspiration of nature and the seasonal renewal of plant life in our native garden, and in the surrounding bush
