My formal art training took place in the 80’s at Christchurch Teachers College under the direction of Kath Brown, a formidable NZ educator, artist and activist. My learning experience with Ms Brown influenced my desire to create art that educates (or at least, offer a subtle message!)
To have the least impact on the planet, I create work mainly in watercolour, gouache, collage or digitally, using vegan or reclaimed materials where I can.
