My name is Rachael Charalambous and am a watercolour and acrylic painter and live in Melbourne.
I am moving forward constantly with my painting by attending and exhibiting in as many art exhibitions as I can.
I mainly focus on botanical art but am constantly experimenting on other subjects.My inspiration comes from the world around me and my interpretation of it.
I have always had an interest in art and studied art and studio production and also art theory during my Victorian Certificate of Education where I completed a folio on fashion design illustration.

Since picking up a pencil as a toddler Valerie has continued drawing. Living in South Gippsland for several years and painting full time she entered many shows and won awards throughout Gippsland. A move back to Melbourne meant a disruption to her full-time art, however she undertook private commissions.
She enjoys painting and drawing in various mediums including watercolour, oil, acrylic, ink, and charcoal. Current member of Box Hill Art Group and Diamond Valley Arts Society. In 2021 awarded First Prize - best works on paper for the Box Hill Art Group show.
