Shamana Seery is a colour obsessed painter and designer with a passion for flowers and bold colour. She is a crazy perfectionist when it comes to getting her paintings to feel and look just right (there’s something important about harmony, balance and beauty being the essence of what she produces).
Currently residing on the beautiful Bellarine peninsula, she loves pottering in her garden and being inspired by the many native flowers in the area.
Her First Nations heritage brings its essence to her work, though she is very much a contemporary artist. Colour, pattern and bold beauty are the hallmarks of her creative practice. Her greatest joy is to share the beauty of the natural world with others through the magic of colour.
Shamana is a trained teacher with an art major; art therapist; florist and visual artist. She has enjoyed exhibiting in many group and solo exhibitions over the years.
She has also completed many public and corporate art installations and murals, her latest works were made into wallpaper for the Waurnponds shopping Centre.
