Sarah's art is textural and moody. She is deeply inspired by the sky and the ocean, and the casual absurdities of life.

Her larger pieces are primarily abstracts using acrylic on canvas, whereas she favours oils for her smaller figurative pieces. Whenever size allows for it, she will choose to paint on wood panel for the texture that can be achieved on this sturdy substrate.

Sarah is based in Northcote, but as a lover of the ocean, she spends a lot of time both at Apollo Bay and at Seaspray on the wild 90 Mile Beach.
