Narelle Callen is a visual artist and textile print designer based on the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria, Australia, where she lives with her small family. Her creative practice includes painting and creating textile print designs for fabric. Narelle’s artwork presents her unique view of freedom, spaciousness and light painted through tranquil contemporary landscapes and seascapes. She uses richly layered colours, collage and mixed media with acrylic paint and transparent colour and washes to give her paintings depth and dimension. Narelle has been painting professionally since 2017. Her background is in design and project management. She is an active member of the Peninsula Studio Trail and opens her studio to visitors twice each year with an annual group exhibition on the Mornington Peninsula.
