Lynne grew up in Melbourne but now calls Geelong home.

She paints impressionist and semi-abstract landscapes and seascapes. Her paintings have been described as atmospheric and feature elements such as light, fog and clouds.

Inspiration comes from family holidays spent around the forest and beach areas of East Gippsland in Victoria, and more recently around the Geelong and Surf Coast region.

Lynne has painted for a large part of her life and has evolved her skills through experimentation, and workshops with Australian and international artists.

Oil has been the primary medium used for most of her artistic life, but now primarily uses acrylics due to the range of techniques that can be accomplished.

She participates in local art shows and group exhibitions with Melbourne and Victorian Artist Collective (MAVA). She received the People’s Choice award at MAVA’s first exhibition, Walk in the Park.
