Jimmi Buscombe is a full-time artist based in Warrnambool, on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. He specialises in high detailed wildlife art, portraiture, anamorphic public art, murals & street art, using a range of styles and techniques to create stunningly life-like representations of his subjects.

Jimmi has been commissioned by councils, private clients and organisations both nationally and internationally, including Werribee Open Range Zoo, the Avoca Silo Art Project and the Lismore Water Tower Art Project. Every piece of artwork is treated with care and consideration.

Jimmi has been a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and The Kennedy Art Prize and has won both the judges choice and the peoples choice at the Warrnambool Portrait Prize (2018, 2019, 2021). Jimmi is passionate about the visual arts and the important role they play within a healthy, well-functioning community.

Jimmi is most widely known as the artist who created The Warrnambool Wombat mural, which was made into a now-viral video by ABC, receiving in excess of 60 million views worldwide.
