Originally from the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, I’ve lived in Darwin and Melbourne.
I work in digital communications - an often high-stress environment - and I love what a relaxing and creative outlet painting is.
Art was my favourite subject at school, but I stopped drawing and painting once I finished. It wasn’t until early 2020, when the pandemic first hit, that I found myself, like everyone else, trapped at home, bored and getting a bit blue.
I bought some paint supplies and just started to paint. And I’ve just kept going!
I love painting bright, happy pieces - mainly still life, but lately, I’ve been experimenting with abstracts too, and I’m enjoying the freedom of that very different process.
